Praying for Self - Control

“But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, forbearance, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self-control. Against such things there is no law.”
(Galatians 5:22-23)
(Galatians 5:22-23)
- Lord, I want the fruits of Your Spirit to be evident in my life.
- I admit there are things in my life that I struggle to control, like bad habits and patterns. Please give me the strength to say no to these things and to break free. I trust You to make a change in me.
- When I feel tempted to go back to old habits, help me remember to turn to You for strength. Guide me to make good choices that align with Your plan for my life.
- God, show me the things that trigger my bad habits, and help me develop good habits instead. Give me the wisdom to make the right choices and the discipline to stick with them.
- Break the chains of my old ways, and help me walk a new path of freedom and obedience to You.
- I'm putting my struggles in Your hands, believing that Your grace is enough for me. Strengthen me to resist the pull of old habits, and give me the courage to embrace the power of self-control You’ve gifted me.
