Intercession
This is the confidence I have in approaching You: that if I ask anything according to Your will, You hear me. 1st John 5:14, NIV - Personalized
- Guide my thoughts to the people and situations You want to impact today.
- Give me supernatural insight and spiritual discernment so I know who to pray for and what to say.
- Let Your power flow through me today as I seek to pray Your will.
Your Word tells us that, “...the Spirit also helps in our weaknesses. For we do not know what we should pray for as we ought, but the Spirit Himself makes intercession for us with groanings which cannot be uttered.” (Romans 8:26) Paul said, “...I will pray in the spirit, and I will also pray in words I understand.” (1st Corinthians 14:15)
Praying in the Spirit:
Begin to pray in tongues over needs both known and unknown as the Lord directs you.
You said, “...you do not have because you do not ask,” (James 4:2) and that we could, “... come boldly to the throne of our gracious God. There we will receive his mercy, and we will find grace to help us when we need it most.” (Hebrews 4:16)
